The 90° Male Elbow (Metric Tube to ISO Tapered – RT) is a precision instrumentation fitting designed to create a leak-proof, 90-degree bend between metric tubing and a female ISO tapered port. The tube side utilizes a high-performance double-ferrule compression system that ensures a secure, vibration-resistant mechanical grip without the need for flaring or welding. The male end features a tapered thread (BSPT/ISO 7-1), which establishes a pressure-tight seal through thread-to-thread contact, often supplemented by a sealant. Typically forged from 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, these elbows are essential for navigating tight spaces in industrial fluid systems, allowing for organized and efficient routing in applications like instrumentation panels and chemical processing plants.
