The Female Tube Adapter (Metric Tube to ISO Parallel – RG) is a specialized instrumentation fitting designed to connect metric tubing directly to pressure gauges featuring a male ISO parallel (BSPP) thread. One end consists of a smooth metric tube stub that is secured into a standard double-ferrule compression fitting, while the opposite end provides a female thread with an RG-style (Gauge) internal seat. This unique internal geometry allows the tip of the pressure gauge to compress a copper or bonded washer against a flat-bottomed seat, creating a reliable, high-pressure seal. Its “swing-free” design is critical for control panel assembly, as it enables the user to thread and orient the gauge onto the adapter without twisting the tubing. Forged from 316 stainless steel, it is the industry standard for mounting monitoring instruments in international hydraulic and process systems where precision and corrosion resistance are paramount.
