The Male Tube Adapter (Metric Tube to ISO Parallel – RP) is a precision-engineered fitting that facilitates a reliable connection between metric tubing and a female ISO parallel (BSPP) port. One end features a smooth, unthreaded tube stub designed for integration into a standard double-ferrule compression fitting, while the other end consists of a male ISO parallel thread with an RP-style sealing face. Unlike the RS-style which uses a bonded washer, the RP configuration typically creates a seal by compressing a gasket or O-ring within a recessed cavity, or by seating against a flat bottom in the receiving port.
